VivaPantry ("VivaPantry", "we", "our", "us") provides meal planning, pantry and grocery organization, recipe support, and AI-assisted food planning features.

  • AI Processing Inputs and Outputs: selected user preferences, relevant planning context, prompt/request content, generated outputs, and audit logs necessary to provide, troubleshoot, and improve AI features.
  • Billing and Entitlement Data: subscription status, plan code, purchase token metadata, entitlement status, and verification timestamps.
  • Technical and Diagnostics Data: error logs, feature usage logs, performance and reliability metrics, and security signals.

3. How We Use Data

  • Provide core app functionality.
  • Personalize meal planning outputs and recommendations.
  • Process receipt and recipe imports.
  • Operate AI-assisted features and return requested results.
  • Maintain account security, prevent abuse, and detect fraud.
  • Verify subscriptions and enforce feature entitlements.
  • Debug, monitor, and improve performance and reliability.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal Bases (EEA/UK and Similar Jurisdictions)

Depending on your location, we process data under contract, legitimate interests, consent (where required), and legal obligation.

5. AI and Third-Party Processing

To deliver AI features, relevant data may be processed by trusted service providers (for example, OpenAI). We also rely on infrastructure and storage providers (for example, Supabase, and optionally user-connected storage services such as Google Drive or OneDrive).

6. How We Share Data

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with processors/service providers that help us operate the Services, for legal compliance, or when you explicitly connect third-party services.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for service operations, security, legal, accounting, and compliance obligations.

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own with legally recognized safeguards where required.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

10. Your Rights

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of VivaPantry ("VivaPantry", "we", "our", "us").

By creating an account or using VivaPantry, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use VivaPantry.

2. Your Account

  • You are responsible for account security and credentials.
  • You must provide accurate account information.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Service Description

VivaPantry provides meal planning, pantry and grocery features, recipe tools, and AI-assisted outputs.

AI outputs are generated automatically and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should review results before relying on them.

4. Health and Nutrition Disclaimer

VivaPantry is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

  • Certain features require a paid subscription.
  • Billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and trial terms are handled by the app store/provider under their policies.
  • Access to premium features may change if payment fails or subscription status changes.

6. Acceptable Use

  • Use VivaPantry lawfully and responsibly.
  • Do not disrupt, abuse, or reverse engineer the service.
  • Do not upload malicious content or interfere with other users.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain rights to content you create and upload, and grant VivaPantry a limited license to process that content to operate and improve the Services.

8. Third-Party Services

VivaPantry may rely on third-party services (for example, AI providers, cloud infrastructure, and optional connected storage services).

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, if required by law, or for security reasons.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, VivaPantry is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free service.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction of the controller/legal entity, unless local consumer law requires otherwise.
